Rosie & Lily's Story

Rosie and Lily are 2.5-year-old female guinea pigs looking for a calm, patient home. Rosie, with her white and dusty-colored fur, has a little sass, while Lily is a sweet brown-and-white girl. Both enjoy cozying up together in their bed and quietly watching the world go by.

These shy girls are more independent and tend to prefer each other’s company over constant human attention. However, Rosie will tolerate being held for a few minutes once she feels comfortable. These girls do have long hair and came to us with some pretty tragic haircuts, so they’ll need regular brushing to keep their coats looking their best.

Rosie and Lily are also discovering the joys of fresh foods and slowly expanding their tastes. So far, fennel is their favorite treat, and they’ve recently decided that fresh, untreated grass is pretty delicious too. With a gentle approach and plenty of patience, these bonded girls will make lovely companions for someone who appreciates their quiet personalities.

Their adoption fee is $45. Adopters must be at least 18 years old.
