Rex's Story

Isn’t he adorable?! He is such a sweet guy and pretty chill, lloves getting snackies and veggies! This boy is a 1 yr old solo piggy and not really sure if he will get along with others, but we can definitely try! This boy sustained injuries after a bonding session in rescue didn’t go well, the other piggy was the aggressor. Unfortunately no matter how long you stick around and baby sit, sometimes scuffles can appear later on, this is why it is so important to monitor while bonding! This boy is now fully healed and doing fantastic! Rex is available for adoption, but would need to bring your piggy here to see how bonding goes! Rex was piggy friendly and respectful during the bond, so it may be likely he can bond to another mellow male! There is a chance that Rex would also do better in just a home where he will get a lot of one on one attention as a solo piggy! Rex was dumped underneath a slide at a park where he was found with two other piggies which were two females he sadly had to be separated from. If you're interested in making Rex's world brighter and to give him lots of love by adopting him, please send us a message to schedule a meet and greet!

Baby Beanz Guinea Pig Rescue's Adoption Policy
We ask various pet friendly Guinea Pig knowledge and safety questions to ensure that the home is a proper fit. We also ask for pictures of the Guinea Pigs set up to verify that the home is suitable for their new pet. We have an adoption application which must be filled out, viewed an approved before setting an appointment for a meet and greet. If the guinea pig is being adopted as a cage mate for their existing piggy, they must bring their piggy for a bonding to insure that it is a perfect match. We verify the piggies sexes before a match just in case to prevent any accidental breeding. We ask that all adoptee's must bring back any adopted piggies if it doesn't work out for them any longer, even if it is years later.
