R2-D2 Guinea Pig Guinea Pig Saint Paul, MN

Due to health and safety concerns, we are now pursuing adoptions with additional safety measures in place. We will be asking potential adopters to discuss their individual preferences and comfort levels involving safety precautions during the greeting/adoption day step. We are HIGHLY suggesting all participants wear facial coverings, stay at least six feet apart, & use sanitization of all surfaces, and hands before and after contact.

Personality: Inquisitive, Friendly toward humans, Cuddly, Chatty, Playful, Energetic, Enjoys being held, Readily allows you to pick it up, Sweet

Favorite treats: Carrots and cherry tomatoes

Favorite toys and activities: Out of cage time

Potty trained: No

This animal daily routine: Feed pellets at 7AM and veggies at 7PM

BFF: Although R2-D2 doesn't have a guinea pig friend now, he should be adopted to a family with a current guinea pig that is seeking a cagemate.

Health concerns: None

Behavioral concerns: R2-D2 has a history of aggressively picking on his cage mate. We have introduced him to other guinea pigs and this aggression was not shown, so he may or may not do well in a bonded group setting.

R2 - D2 found this way to MNPPR after his previous owner felt he was not receiving the proper attention required.

Due to our rescue being foster based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. R2-D2’s foster parent prefers to meet at the Monicello PetSmart - 1425 E 7th St, Monticello, MN 55362 or Maple Grove PetSmart - 11200 Fountains Dr, Maple Grove, MN 55369 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
