Now they run to my hand when I open the cage door, looking for a snack. I just have to make sure I have a treat ready for each guy to take, or there will be some brotherly rivalry!"<br/><br/>Estimated birth date: 04/01/2025<br/><br/>Personality: Nervous, Quiet, Very shy (you are unable to touch this animal without it running away or being fearful, etc)<br/><br/>Favorite treats: Peas, Cheerios, lima beans, most fruits.<br/><br/>Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Adult Rat Food, Fruit, Veggies<br/><br/>Favorite toys and activities: Exploring, hiding, hammocks, and boxes.<br/><br/>Potty trained: Litter box trained<br/><br/>This animal’s daily routine: Flexible. He is very used to sleeping during the day and being active at night<br/><br/>BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Peter needs a buddy in his adoptive home. <br/><br/>Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: None<br/><br/>Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? None<br/><br/>Health concerns: None<br/><br/>Behavioral concerns: Thumper is in our trust training program for shyness.<br/><br/>Other notes: Peter does not like being held, but he is allowing me to pet him when food is involved. He is okay climbing on his foster and taking treats from their hand, and we are working on getting him more comfortable with being touched and held.<br/><br/>If he is annoyed or scared, he will sometimes nip.<br/><br/>Transferred from TWAR <br/><br/>Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Petsmart - 1640 New Brighton Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55413 for meet & greets, & adoptions. <br/><br/>Fee: Peter's adoption fee is $20<br/><br/>We absolutely DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS!
