Nimbus's Story

Nimbus is one of 3 young guinea pigs we took in April 2026. They were being listed for free in a Facebook breeder group and we know all too well what often happens to small animals in those situations ... bait, reptile food, homes that aren't prepared for their care, etc.

One of our longtime fosters, who let us know about the post, stepped up and offered them a safe place to land if we could take them in. We said yes, as foster space is the biggest limiting factor for us as a foster home based rescue.

Nimbus is a young Texel mix guinea pig.
