Molly and Matilda's Story

Meet Molly & Matilda: The Sweetest Little Duo

Molly (black-and-white) and Matilda (hairless) were recently pulled from a local shelter so they could finally receive the love and attention they deserve. These two girls are a bonded pair and must stay together for life.

Matilda is a very special hairless guinea pig who will absolutely melt your heart. She has a slight head tilt, likely from a previously untreated ear infection, which is not causing her any current health issues and does not slow her down one bit. She zooms, popcorns, and enjoys all the snacks life has to offer.

Hairless guinea pigs do require a bit more specialized care. They must be bedded on soft fleece to protect their sensitive skin, and they eat more food than their furry counterparts since they burn extra calories to stay warm. We will happily guide adopters on the best care for these unique pigs, though we prefer a home with some previous experience or eager willingness to learn.

Molly, her furry sidekick, is as sweet as can be. She is gentle, affectionate, and loves lap time just as much as Matilda. Both girls adore their veggies and will happily nibble greens right from your hand.

If you are ready to open your heart and home to a truly charming pair of best friends, Molly & Matilda would love to meet you. They have endless love to give and are excited for their happily ever after.

We require a 4x2 C&C cage or a double midwest cage setup. The 4x2 C&C cage measures 56" x 27". Please see our Supply list for links to approved habitats: https://www.socalguineapigrescue.org/supplies-list

All of our piggies are fostered in LA, OC and Ventura Counties so please message us if you would like to meet any of them.

Visit https://www.socalguineapigrescue.org/adoption-process - for the application link and other info.
