Elmbrook Humane Society's Adoption Policy
If you would like to adopt an animal in our care, the first step is to complete an adopter profile on our website. We are open for viewing from 1-6pm every day*. No appointment needed to visit. Appointments are required to meet with an animal and/or adopt. Appointments can be made same-day when available or scheduled with an approved profile on record. Operating by appointment allows us to provide the best possible care for the animals and service to you. We encourage all family members in the household to meet the adoptable animal prior to adoption (this may be required for certain animals). If you are adopting a dog and have another dog in your household, we encourage you bring in your dog to meet their potential new companion (this may be required for certain dogs). *The shelter is closed on holidays and the last Tuesday of every month. Please call 262-782-9261 with any questions.
