Mickey's Story

Introducing Mickey! He is not currently in rescue but we have been asked to aid in his adoption. Here is what his current owner had to say:<br/><br/>"Meet Mickey! Hes a 4.5-year-old American white-crested guinea pig—you can see the very handsome white fountain, or crest, of hair on his head contrasting fetchingly with his chestnut coat. Mickey has a heart of gold and his favorite thing is when his human sits near his pen and he can stretch out, kick out his back legs, put his head down, and just look at them with loving eyes. When hes not resting his tummy after a big meal, hes very active. He loves to popcorn around his pen—especially when theres a new box or toy to explore—and can demolish a heaping basket of hay faster than you can believe. His favorite fresh veggies are romaine lettuce, carrots, and cilantro, and hell never turn down the occasional treats of parsley, apple, or a grape. He is healthy and curious, but is sensitive to noises, which scare him; a quiet home is ideal for him. He has sadly been alone since his companion died, and would love to be homed with other guinea pig friends for company. Included with the adoption: 30 C&C panels and connectors to make any size of pen; 30 lbs. hay; 15 lbs. dry pellets; Vitamin C tablets. Rehoming fee: $25. Located in Olympia, willing to travel a few hours in any direction to meet the right adopter."<br/><br/>Email us at TinyTailsAndScales@gmail.com to get in contact with his current owner.
