Meet Matty!<br/>This loveable guy is waiting to meet his FURever family!<br/><br/>Matty was abandoned in a local store, so we don't know his background.<br/>He was a bit shy when we met him, but now Matty is eager to explore his enclosure and showing his personality.<br/><br/>Guinea pigs make wonderful companions! They are social animals and love company! They are gentle and rarely nip and are generally quiet – though they do have a range of calls and chatters, especially at mealtimes! Guinea pigs are known to grunt, squeal, whistle and chirp. They will even make purring sounds when they are being petted and feeling content on your lap. The ideal guardian for a guinea pig is someone who is willing to provide a large, interesting habitat, as well as plenty of out-of-cage exercise, fresh food and water, and of course some quiet lap time. <br/><br/>Matty is a mature male, about 2 years old. <br/><br/>If you would like to adopt a pet, please call Caledon Animal Services at 905-584-2272 x4698. Our team will conduct a telephone interview and arrange adoption paperwork digitally.
