Klaus's Story

Say hello to Klaus! Klaus is an amazing, little dude, he is just incredibly shy and skittish. Klaus came to us paired with another boy, but, sometimes bonds change when coming into the shelter. He has been working with staff to learn the joys of a good head pet from new people. He has been making some amazing progress. Klaus will need to go to a home savvy in guinea pig care. Being a shy boy, he will need a family who has experience moving at his pace. Once you build that relationship with him, we know he will be a loving and amazing furry family member. Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at info@rispca.org.
