These handsome young boys were turned in after they got a respiratory infection that their owner couldnt handle. We are currently treating them with antibiotics (June 18th) and hope they will be cleared for adoption in about a month! The pair is said to be 5 month old brothers. They are sweet timid boys however sometimes with daily medication like this, temperament may become a little worse by the time theyre all better. Its possible they'll be fussy to hold although im hoping they will take the medication willingly, disguised in treats, and the experience wont be too traumatic on them. For that reason I will not approve these rats as children's pets. They need a calmer home with a mature respectful handler to cuddle with after their recovery. Adoption fee for the pair will be $45. Rat experience is not required but we will need to discuss husbandry to ensure you are fully prepared for proper care.
