Hazel

Courtesy Post
We are full on surrenders, so here you can find pets who are on our waitlist that are available through their current owners. Please contact their current owners to adopt them.

*Located near Willoughby Hills and Kirtland, Ohio but willing to travel for the right home*
Hazel is a female long haired Syrian who was born on August 6 2026 at a petstore along with her five other siblings. The pet store was going to just put them on the sales floor but thankfully they were rescued and I fostered them and took care of raising them till they could all go to wonderful homes. They’ve been handled since two weeks old so Hazel is good with handling and has never bitten. However she does enjoy her space and isn’t super cuddly. She can be a little skittish at first but food is the way to her heart and will love to take treats from your hand like freeze dried tofu, peanuts and scrambles egg. Those are her faves. She has a lot of energy as she’s still young!

Visit our website if you'd like to learn how to care for hamsters!
Happyhorizonhamsterhaven.org

If you're interested in adopting Hazel, please email Ally at girlmeetspup@gmail.com for further info and to plan an adoption day!
