Gemma's Story
Gemma was surrendered to Hamilton Animal Services when her owner could no longer care for her. Ladybird was happy to get this sweet girl out of the shelter when a foster home became available. Gemma had a vet visit on her rescue day and was given a clean bill of health. She is loving the 75 gallon tank enclosure her foster family have provided for her, and she is having a great time digging tunnels through the bedding and running on her wheel.
Gemma is friendly, but isn’t a fan of being picked up. Her favourite treats are veggies and millet sprays.
As gerbils do best in pairs or groups, we are asking that there be other female, or neutered male gerbils in her new home for her to be friends with.

Please adopt Gemma!

Visit ladybirdanimalsanctuary.com to apply
