AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - Emmet is a male Syrian hamster who was born in November. He was surrendered to another rescue on December 17th along with 15 other hamsters including Bailey. Sadly, it does not seem like any of the hamsters were handled very much. Emmet is a very cute little guy; he is smaller than his sister Bailey but still a little tricky to pick up. So, for now we would recommend handling him close to the ground, in case he jumps. We are recommending he goes to a home that has experience with hamsters. Emmet is young so just needs someone with a little patience, he is such a fluffy little hamster. <br/><br/>Syrian hamsters are solitary animals and should be housed by themselves.
