Meet Ellie & Maxine (Eleven and Max)<br/><br/>These two sweet ladies are part of our New Years Eve group rescued from an LA Shelter Dec 31, 2025.<br/>They were part of a group of 9 piggies surrendered to the shelter in absolutely awful shape.<br/>They were severely emaciated, filthy and soaking wet.<br/>We were closed to intakes at that time but there was no way we could leave them at the shelter.<br/><br/>Fast forward to March 2026 and all girls are off pregnancy watch (no babies yayyy)<br/>They have been steadily gaining weight and learning to trust people. They are still skittish and NEED to be adopted by someone who is kind and patient and will not take it personally when they shy away from being picked up.<br/><br/>We estimate that both girls are around 5-7 months old.<br/><br/>Both girls are available now for adoption to a safe, loving and preferably adult only home.<br/><br/>Adopters will need to go slow and be understanding of their past history and natural skittish tendencies.<br/><br/>We can confidently say that if you are looking for piggies for a family with very young children, don't have time to work on trust building and want a pet that is easy to care for who loves to be picked up, these girls are not for you.<br/><br/>We ask that adopters be willing to provide either a 2x4 grid c&c cage or larger.
