Elantra & Palisade

Meet Elantra & Palisade! These boys are the babies of Sonata, one of our female guinea pigs taken in from a large animal hoarding case. They were born 7/3 and are almost three months old. They are thriving and growing each day!

Palisade is a little adventurer — he always has to be the first to check out new toys or tunnels in their enclosure. He is white/blonde with the most beautiful red eyes. Elantra is light brown with white between his eyes. He is a little more reserved and will require a little bribery, but give him a cucumber or bell pepper and he will slowly become your best friend!

All approved adopters will need to provide proof of a guinea pig safe cage that is at least 8 square feet with a solid cage bottom (no wire bottoms).

These guinea pigs are being fostered in Rochester, NY by Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions. We are not a shelter, but a foster home-based rescue and these animals are all housed individually with foster families.

Please review our application carefully and ensure everyone in the family is ready for the lifelong responsibility and commitment of a family pet.

If you are interested in meeting Elantra & Palisade, please fill out an application at: https://rescued-treasures.com
