Drippy & Paityn BONDED PAIR's Story

Drippy (mostly black) and Paityn (mostly white) are a bonded pair of senior female guinea pigs. They are 5 years old as of December 2025. They came to us due to severe allergies in the home.<br/><br/>From their foster: "Drippy and Paityn are very sweet old ladies! Paityn is more confident than Drippy, though they're both a little shy. They've gotten more and more comfortable every day, with the help of snacks! They also LOVE toys, especially ones they can chew up and rip apart. <br/><br/>Drippy will need to be monitored for her two cysts: one internal (possibly ovarian) cyst, and one external sebaceous cyst. They aren't causing her any discomfort at this time. She occasionally seems a little weak in the rear legs (especially when on a flat surface with less traction), but she isn't stiff or painful and our vet doesn't think that arthritis medication is needed at this time. She zooms around with no problems!"<br/><br/>Are you the right home to give these sweet, slightly shy ladies a wonderful retirement home? Potentially further- please inquire and we can discuss!<br/><br/>APPLY HERE: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf-XKeCEMgJ9aEA0CR1Pv9NGcoNcMkY0dw2m3DehyChe4ToVA/viewform?usp=header

Tiny Whiskers Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
The first step is to fill out an adoption application. This includes questions about their proposed enclosure for the animal, food, enrichment, and whether they have an exotic vet or not. We review the response and contact them with any questions we have. Once all questions have been answered and approved, we move on to the second step. This involves submitting multiple photos of their enclosure, fully set up for their animal. We inspect the photos and address any concerns we see. Once we can ascertain that the enclosure meets our requirements, we give final approval for adoption. A meet up is arranged for the person to take home their new pet. At the meet up, we have a contact that must be signed by the person (or legal adult) agreeing to take proper care of the animal, not to breed it, and that they will contact us if the animal becomes sick within the first week, or if they are unable to care for the animal any longer.
