Dot and Gingham

Dot and Gingham are pretty much no hold chinchillas, but they are getting better with petting. They came from a hoarding / breeding situation that wasn't filled with love or great care. They have been good with taking treats from hands and coming up to a calm voice and hand. They are fantastic to watch and interact with as long as you don't try to pick them up. Both girls love toys and chew on everything! They will need lots of enrichment.
Dot is a standard gray and was born 7/24/2025 and Gingham is also a standard gray and she was born 8/14/2020. Gingham was spayed when she entered the shelter that took them in, before transfering to CBT. She is a larger and darker chinchilla. The adoption fee listed is for the pair.

Our rescue is not currently open to the public. Adoptions are made at our adoption events OR by special arrangements made by CBT volunteer and potential adopter.... Rescue is located in Dearborn MO. We are willing to meet within a reasonable distance. Please check out our FB page or webpage (www.teescritters.weebly.com) for adoption event dates and additional information. When considering adopting one of our homeless pets, please remember to do your research before adoption, because we want to place our animals in homes who understand the responsibilities of taking care of an exotic pet.

****** PLEASE READ BEFORE SENDING AN INQUIRY: Please ask questions or make statements.
