Cyber's Story
Cyber - needs a permanent foster home. 5 1/4 years old, spayed, descented. She is blind. She gets around really well and doesn't let that stop her. She will come up and nip at you to get your attention when she wants to play. We're teaching her not to. She shouldn't be with young children just to be safe. She has adrenal disease. This is very common in ferrets and isn't usually a cause of death, unless untreated. It's not contagious. She received a Des implant as treatment, which is good for 12-14 months. For fostering, the rescue pays for all medical care, as long as the ferret is brought back to the rescue for that care. Otherwise, the rescue will pay toward the vet bill what the rescue vet would normally charge
