Due to health and safety concerns, we are now pursuing adoptions with additional safety measures in place. We will be asking potential adopters to discuss their individual preferences and comfort levels involving safety precautions during the greeting/adoption day step. We are HIGHLY suggesting all participants wear facial coverings, stay at least six feet apart, & use sanitization of all surfaces, and hands before and after contact.

Favorite treats: Oxbow Simple Rewards Timothy Treats, oats, and cereal puffs

Favorite toys and activities: Running on her wheel, chewing on toys, her timothy hay tunnel, hanging out with her sister.

Potty trained: No

This animal daily routine: Crema likes to run on her wheel every morning and evening and enjoy some relaxing/snacking/chewing time during the day

BFF (Does this animal have or need the same species friend in their home?): Yes! Crema is bonded to Java, Cappuccino, & Barista!

Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Isn’t the biggest fan of the large dog that lives in the house. Doesn’t mind living in the same room as rats and a mouse.

Other notes: Happy to take treats from hands but is still hesitant about hands in her space. They LOVE attention. They get really excited when anyone walks in the room and they sit at the front of the cage and stare at you until you come to give them attention. When they’re really excited to see you they bounce back and forth between running on their wheel and standing at the door of their cage.

Java & Crema found their way to MNPPR as a transfer from a hoarding case in South Dakota. Cappuccino & Barista were born in rescue after their parents transfer from a hoarding case in SD.

Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. Crema’s foster parent prefers to meet at the Eagan PetSmart - 1297 Promenade Pl, Eagan, MN 55121 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
