Copperfield & Houdini

Meet Copperfield & Houdini—the ultimate duo! These two sweet brothers are as cute as they are loving, with their matching black-and-white coats and gentle, trusting personalities. They are strictly a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

These boys are open, friendly, and eager to interact with humans. They love stepping onto an outstretched hand and hanging out with their favorite people. They groom each other, sleep in a tight little fur-ball, and give each other confidence in new surroundings. Whether they're curled up together in a cozy hammock or exploring during free-roam time, their sweet disposition makes them a joy to watch and handle.

**Please note: Both boys have been previously treated for Mycoplasmosis (a common respiratory condition in rats). Because of this, they must be the only rats in the household to prevent potential transmission to other rats. Mycoplasmosis is *species-specific*. It cannot be transmitted to cats, dogs, other non-rodent pets, or humans, so they are completely safe around your existing non-rat pets and family members! They do have previous experience around cats and do completely fine in a home with feline companions.

Copperfield and Houdini would do wonderfully in a loving home—whether you are first-time pet owners or experienced caregivers who currently don't have other rats. They need a spacious cage with plenty of hammocks, climbing structures, and enrichment, along with daily out-of-cage time to explore and snuggle safely.

These rats are being fostered in Rochester, NY by Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions. We are not a shelter, but a foster home-based rescue and these animals are all housed individually with foster families.

Please review our application carefully and ensure everyone in the family is ready for the lifelong responsibility and commitment of a family pet.

If you are interested in meeting Copperfield & Houdini, please fill out an application at: https://rescued-treasures.com
