Introducing Cody!<br/><br/><br/>Cody is on the hunt for a VERY special home that can provide him the space and exploration he requires. Cody only likes to sleep and eat in his cage, but prefers to explore and run around when able. We first learned this when he so eagerly jumped out of his cage and started exploring the house. Out of many free roam piggies we have NEVER had one with as little fear as this guy has. He doesn't mind hardwood flooring and isn't spooked at much in the home. He will need to stay away from predators (cats and dogs) but he NEEDS to be able to explore. This doesn't mean 100% of the time he needs to be out of his cage, but he needs a few hours to run around. He does laps around the house for no apparent reason, popcorning as he runs around. He is just truly happy to have freedom and space to run. He is a gold star track meet winner. At night with a gentle ask, he jumps back into his cage for sleepy time. <br/><br/>Cody does thrive off having guinea pigs to say hello to. He may be able to bond to another guinea pig but with how fearless and outgoing he is, he may be a bit much at first. Slow and calm bonding with him will be key. We know he would do well with a spayed female as he lived with a female for a few months before she got pregnant and the family was surrendered into rescue. Otherwise having a neighbor piggy would be just fine (he says preferably female, but a male would be fine). He is not neutered so any actual interact must only be with a spayed female or a male. <br/><br/>Cody is a special guy who needs that perfect fitting home.
