She’s social, energetic, and sweet. You’ll often find her nibbling on the bars asking for just one more snack. She loves being held and soaking up all the pets.<br/><br/>Nugget is a fluffy brown, tan, and white Abyssinian guinea pig. She may be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—she’s incredibly sweet, loves to be held, and enjoys gentle cuddles once she warms up.<br/><br/>These girls love floor time and cozy pillows in their huts. They also enjoy eating fresh hay, treats, pellets, lettuce, carrots, apples, bananas, and bell peppers. They’re used to being around children and would make a wonderful addition to a loving home.<br/><br/>Their adoption fee is $45. Adopters must be at least 18 years old.

West Michigan Critter Haven's Adoption Policy
How To Adopt a Pet from West Michigan Critter Haven 1. Apply to adopt via our online application at https://wmicritterhaven.org/adoption-application/. 2. When your application is received an adoption counselor will contact you to set up an adoption interview. 3. Upon approval from the Board of Directors and verification of references, approved adopters can then meet animals in their foster homes for adoption. As a note, the adoption process can take anywhere from two days to a week depending on schedules. West Michigan Critter Haven is made up of a group of volunteers who also have full-time jobs. We appreciate your patience in scheduling interviews and meet-and-greets!
