Chickadee & Wren's Story

Chickadee and Wren are a bonded pair of 3-year-old guinea pigs looking for a calm, patient home that will love them just as they are.

Chickadee, the brown Abyssinian, is the brave one of the duo. She’s curious, always ready to pop out and see what you’re up to, and very enthusiastic about treats—so much so that fingers beware! While she’s not a fan of pets (it’s a firm “no thank you” from her), she does enjoy saying hello on her own terms and being part of the action from a safe distance.

Wren, the smooth tri-color beauty, is much more reserved. She prefers to observe quietly and isn’t quite ready to interact directly—she won’t take treats from your hand just yet and would rather wait until you’ve stepped away before coming out to snack. But with time, patience, and a gentle routine, she may continue to build confidence in her own way.

These girls are perfect for someone who finds joy in simply watching their pets be themselves. They’re looking for a home that respects their boundaries, offers consistency, and celebrates the small wins—like Chickadee’s brave check-ins or Wren venturing out for a treat.

Their adoption fee is $45. Adopters must be at least 18 years old.
