Chickadee & Opalite's Story
Fostered in Woodstock Valley, CT

UPDATE 12/8/25:

These super sweet girls have come a long way since they came into foster! At first they were very timid and shy, but now they are very curious and love to see what is going on. Like many rats, they prefer not to be picked up, but are easily handled once outside the cage – especially Chickadee. They will run to the cage door when it is opened, but be aware that if you stick your hand in the cage they might “test” it with a little nibble (not really a bite). Just something to be aware of.

These girls would thrive in a home with someone who has rat experience and is willing to give them the time and patience to continue working to bring them further out of their shells.
