Chestnut & Praline's Story

Meet Chestnut and Praline!

These sweet boys are a bonded pair of young adult guinea pigs, estimated to be about 10 months- a year old. Chestnut and Praline were found abandoned in a park and had a rough start at our rescue, being very skittish at their new environment. After some love and care, they have opened up to become the most wonderful little friends, ready to join your forever family!

Chestnut has long hair and is the most hyper out of the two brothers! He loves throwing popcorn parties and zooming around their enclosures at all hours of the day. Most of the time, you can find him sitting at the front of the cage with his hands perched, waiting and ready for some snacks! Praline is a little quieter. He loves to lounge around and sit in his house. He can be a little bit more mischievous, tipping houses or checking that your finger isn't a snack!

PLEASE NOTE: This pair is a specialty breed and will only be available for adoption to experienced owners or to owners who have demonstrated remarkable initiative in researching and providing a higher level of care for a new guinea pig. Chestnut is a long haired breed (we believe a Sheba) these guinea pigs require more haircuts, bum baths and overall a more observant eye as they can hide illness better due to the length of their hair.
