Cherry

Cherry (black guinea pig in videos) is part of a bonded pair with Bithia. We prefer these pigs be adopted together, but also, Cherry seems like she would be fine as a solitary pig if Bithia was to be adopted solo. Bithia would need another female partner if you already have one. Cherry is very vocal and very smart so she alerts you when she needs something or wants to go for a walk (Type A personality). Bithia on the other hand does not chirp, but she will make various chittering sounds to express happiness or stress (Type B personality). Bithia is less likely to demand a free roam, however, given a maze of boxes and hideaways, she will explore them all. Cherry has a voracious appetite. Besides fresh veg and pellets, she enjoys a plate of Herbivore Critical Care once a day (like a yummy baby food paste). Cherry is not fond of heights, so she prefers sitting down with you than being carried up high. When she wants to be returned to her cage or has to use the bathroom Cherry pulls on your sleeve or clothing (where ever she can bite gently). Bithia loves snuggling under blankets, butt pats, and kisses. She requires a single daily dose of medicine to keep her from forming bladder stones (if a day is missed here or there, she will be fine), but she is the most easy going out of the pair. When sitting in your lap, if she starts backing up or getting fidgety instead of sitting still, this is your cue she has to pee. Run her back to her potty zone. Bithia is just over 2 years and Cherry is roughly 4 years. Bithia and Cherry would require children with mild temperaments who can handle them gently, ages 8 and up would be best.
