The males were all being housed together (they will kill each other) and they were with a bunch of females. The males were all separated from each other and are doing so well. Cheddar is a sweet boy that doesn’t mind being picked up and handled. He loves running on his wheel! We recommend large size hamster cages for Syrians like bin cages (critter trail cages are not sufficient), with lots of activities, things to climb on and chew, and solid bottomed wheels to run on, as well as a good healthy hamster diet supplemented with fresh foods.
