Our adoption process can be found on our website here: www.mnpocketpetrescue.org/process<br/><br/>A FREE CritterTrail carrier is included with this adoption.<br/><br/>Estimated birth date: 9/17/24<br/><br/>Personality: Hesitant, Nervous, Quiet, Very shy (you are unable to touch this animal without it running away or being fearful, etc)<br/><br/>Favorite treats: Dried fruit<br/><br/>Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Mouse & Young Rat Food<br/><br/>Favorite toys and activities: making burrows and running on his wheel<br/><br/>Potty trained: Haven't tried <br/><br/>This animal’s daily routine: Cake is most active in the evening/at night <br/><br/>BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): No, this animal prefers to live alone.<br/><br/>Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: None<br/><br/>Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? None<br/><br/>Health concerns: None<br/><br/>Behavioral concerns: Trying to build trust with him by speaking to him, gently putting my hands in his cage. He is VERY flighty though and runs as soon as he sees you.<br/><br/>Note from Cake's foster: Cake is fun to watch as he runs on his wheel and burrows new tunnels throughout his cage! He is not quite sure about humans yet, however, so he will prefer a family that will allow him his independence and put in the slow work to build trust with him. <br/><br/>Other notes: Hybrid Mouse - Half Fancy, Half House Mouse<br/><br/>Cake came to MNPPR after his litter was found stray in a mall. <br/><br/>Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Roseville PetSmart - 2480 Fairview Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113 for meet & greets, & adoptions. <br/><br/>Fee: Cake has an adoption fee of $8<br/><br/>We absolutely DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS! Please do not ask.<br/><br/><br/>Cake's care while in rescue has not yet been sponsored.
