Buddy

Meet Buddy- a reserved but sweet young rat. He can be nervous at times but his curiosity for new things tends to overshadow that. He is incredibly food motivated and loves everything from lettuce and cilantro- to blueberries and apples. His favorite treat is whole peanuts, and he loves to forage around his cage for treats and hidden surprises. Buddy, like most rats, is incredibly smart, and has enjoyed puzzlers, snuffle mats and things that challenge his brain (with a food reward of course). He was under socialized in the past but has responded well to handling and hang outs in a snuggle sack and grows more confident every day. It’s important especially for single rats without a fellow companion to be handled daily and socialized, as they are very colony and socially motivated. Daily socialization ensures that your rat remains happy and handleable.
