Badger and Bear's Story
Badger and Bear are one-month-old male American guinea pigs (born January 17, 2026) looking for a loving guardian.. They are all social with other guinea pigs and people.

They are all beautifully socialized, sweet, wiggly, and fun boys who were rescued from the same family.

They are currently eating unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, fresh salad, fruits, veggies and pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch squares of red pepper, a vitamin C cookie, and some of their dark leafy greens.

These guys deserve guinea pig loving homes with people who will handle them daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and their habitat nice and clean.

If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting these guys, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com

Their adoption fee of $75 as a pair, or $40 individually, benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $75, you can purchase their Midwest guinea pig cage (two-foot by four-foot), and all the supplies you’ll need to get you started.

They are being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
