Atlas & Muffler's Story

Atlas and Muffler are a bonded pair of neutered male piggies. They were rescued from a hoarding situation in upstate NY of about 300 guinea pigs. They are about two years old. On the shy but very adorable side. The black guy, Muffler, is a Teddy Bear guinea pig as you can see from his puffy hairstyle. Please contact reheartrescue@gmail.com if you don't hear back from us.

ReHeart Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

We require an adoption fee of $100 per rabbit and guinea pig. Cats are on a case by case basis. We also require a signed adoption contract with the understanding that the animal is to be returned to us if no longer wanted. The prospective adopter will need to have a phone interview with us and provide a veterinary reference if possible, plus one to two personal references. Lastly we require a home visit, which may sometimes be completed virtually, to check the habitat set up.
