Alfie and Marlon's Story
Alfie and Marlon are a bonded pair of male guinea pigs. Alfie is estimated to have been born in February of 2022, while Marlon was born in August of 2022.

These boys were bonded here in rescue, so that they were not lonely. Alfie had been alone for quite some time as his previous home was unable to provide him a buddy. Luckily for him, Marlon needed a buddy after being separated from his two brothers that often picked on him. The boys made quick friends and now are always doing everything together! They are the KINGS of zoomies and will even do popcorns so hard they hit the sides of the cage while frolicking around. Occasionally they can bicker if they are in too small of space so they MUST go home to a large C and C cage to allow for all their activities. The boys also do not do well in a carrier together and must travel separately.

Alfie is the more social guy out of the pair and is usually the first one to come and greet us in the morning when doing rounds. Alfie has taught Marlon if they wheek loud enough a human will appear and likely give a snack. So they have mastered begging for a treat! The boys can be a little flighty when picked up, but Alfie calms down quickly. Marlon takes a bit more to be comfortable and prefers to have safety of a snuggle sac when being held. The boys absolutely love toilet paper rolls and are often caught throwing them around, playing with them.

Alfie and Marlon's adoption fee is $35. If you're interested in giving these boys a loving home, please email us at tinytailsandscales@gmail.com.

We are a foster-based rescue located in the Lacey/Olympia area. At this time we are unable to accommodate adoptions outside of Washington. We do not ship animals.
