Wigeon's Story
Intake date: 4/9/25
Status: Available

Wigeon is a juvenile ball python who came to us from the Wake County Animal Center. He is a little shy but can be easily handled and is healthy. He eats frozen/thawed small rats. His adoption fee is $50.

Care sheet: https://bewildnc.org/ball-python/

**We do NOT recommend glass tanks/aquariums for ball pythons due to humidity issues. While they can be appropriately modified, this is not easy for a beginner keeper and we have seen repeated issues with stuck shed and anorexia. Please check out our care guide for alternative housing methods--we recommend PVC cages and appropriate bin setups.**

PLEASE READ!
If you are interested in adopting this animal, you need to fill out an application at https://bewildnc.org/apply/.
