Theodora's Story

Theodora is a beautiful approximately 3 year old female red bearded dragon. She has metabolic bone disease (MBD) and a heart murmur caused by the improper care she received before coming to the rescue. She arrived emaciated in a small filthy tank shared with another bearded dragon. Despite vet care, the other dragon sadly did not survive. Thankfully, she has been able to recover and put on weight. Luckily, we stopped the MBD progression before it caused major deformations. The only difference in her care versus a healthy beardie is she requires daily calcium supplements instead of every other day. <br/>Theodora comes with her tank and lights. She is very calm and fine with being handled. She loves soaks and hunting for bugs. She will eat her greens some days and ignore them others. If you have beardie experience and are interested, please contact us!
