Thea is an unknown aged female Hermann's tortoise who has been nothing but a sweet girl since arriving. Thea is quite curious and loves to try to climb anything she can. She also has no clue how big she is because she will try to fit into small spaces, but that doesn't work so well for her. She is approximately 8 inches long by 6 inches wide and is about 5 inches tall; and currently weighs about 4.2 pounds. She loves to explore so a large enclosure with tortoise safe enrichment will be key for this lovely lady. She has done well with other tortoises when out during playtime or in a large space. Thea came into our rescue on October 16 and is ready to go to her forever home. <br/><br/>This animal needs an indoor enclosure of 8’x4’ due to their large size. Ideally the outside enclosure is larger for the warmer months, but an 8’x4’ size enclosure for outdoors is the minimum. Proof of habitat will be requested at time of adoption inquiry. <br/><br/>Thea may have a home lined up, but please reach out to us if you are interested in adopting her in case something would fall through.
