Meet Tater Tot!<br/><br/>Remember this little guy? Tater Tot came to us from the shelter and initially appeared healthy, but we soon discovered he had a case of snake mites. After treatment and some TLC, we’re happy to say Tater Tot is officially mite-free! <br/><br/>And we’ve got another important update... Tater Tot is officially a BOY! <br/><br/>This handsome ball python is eating regularly and consistently, and he makes every meal exciting with his signature “death roll” strike every single time. <br/><br/>And personality? Tater Tot is one chill, curious, funny little guy. He’s got a laid-back personality and loves checking out what’s going on around him. He may be a noodle, but he definitely has a personality all his own! <br/><br/>His sheds have also become more regular as his overall health has improved, although he is not consistently shedding in one full piece yet. His adopter will need to continue monitoring his sheds and making sure his husbandry is supporting healthy shedding as he continues to get back on track.<br/><br/>Because of Tater Tot’s history, we’re looking for either an experienced ball python owner or an exceptionally dedicated adopter who is willing to learn. Ball pythons have specific husbandry requirements, including appropriate temperature and humidity, enclosure setup, feeding, shedding, and ongoing monitoring. Tater Tot’s adopter will need to be proactive about understanding these needs—not simply willing to “figure it out” after adoption.<br/><br/>We want someone who will continue the work we’ve started and make sure this little guy stays healthy and thriving. <br/><br/>Tater Tot has already come a long way—from a shelter intake with an unexpected mite infestation to a healthy, hungry boy who is eating consistently and settling into a much better routine. Now, he just needs someone ready to give him the knowledgeable care he deserves. <br/><br/> Tater Tot is ready to roll into his forever home!
