Squirt's Story

Squirt is a 5 year old, female Sulcata tortoise who came into our rescue on November 19. She is known to be a social girl, but was super shy about the camera being in her face. She currently weighs 888 grams, and is 7 inches long by 4 inches wide. Squirt has minimal pyramiding and a lot of growing to do. Squirt's previous owner said she eats well, but is not a fan of her hay.

This animal requires a 25’x12’ enclosure as an adult. Juvenile and baby sulcata tortoises can live in an 8'x4' until they get larger. Outdoor pens must be secured into the ground at least 12 inches to ensure they will not dig and escape. Proof of habitat will be requested at time of adoption inquiry.

If you are interested in adopting Squirt, please reach out to us at christinaspets@netzero.net or start an inquiry on this page.
Must be able to travel to the Palmerton, PA area for pick up.
