Spike is an 18 year old, male red foot tortoise who is looking for his forever home! Spike is super friendly and quite active. He appears to be healthy, just has minimal pyramiding which is not uncommon. This sweet guy came into our rescue on August 13 and is hoping to go home soon!<br/><br/>This animal requires an outdoor enclosure approximately measuring 8'x4' for the warmer months. For an indoor enclosure, we would love it if you are able to provide an 8'x4' size enclosure. Proof of habitat will be requested at time of adoption inquiry. <br/><br/>Spike may have a home lined up, but please reach out to us if you are interested in adopting him in case something would fall through. Christina's Reptile & Animal Sanctuary's Adoption Policy
Adopters start by reaching out with an inquiry about an animal we have posted. Then, we contact them regarding the habitat the animal will be placed in, to ensure they have the essentials and are set up for success (picture proof required). After ensuring the adopter is ready for the animal, we set up a time for them to come and meet the pet. If it seems like a good fit on both the adopter's end, as well as the rescue's end, they are able to take the animal home. All adoptions happen in Palmerton, PA. We do not ship animals.
