Spike

This little guy was surrendered to the rescue by his family who no longer has time to care for him. Supposedly they got the dragon 6 yrs ago as a young growing juvenile, from the pet store. They think its a male but really arent sure. They think his morph was some kind of a "desert" or high red/orange contrast thats commonly bred for in captivity. <br/>Spike is very easy to handle and seems to be in decent health. He is bright and alert which is great. His toenails were very very long which means he probably hasnt had the proper setup with driftwood or anything he can climb around on. He's relatively small for an adult dragon and slightly underweight, too. We are going to increase his calories and make sure this guy packs on some muscle mass before going to a new home. But he seems to be in great spirits and nearly ready for a new, loving family! Dragons can live upwards of 10-15 years in captivity so he's still got lots of time left to bring joy to some new owners. Send a message to inquire about adoption
