Sonic

Sonic is a 1.5 year old female Sulcata tortoise who came into our rescue on June 7. She was quite shy when she first came in (likely due to the stress of moving) because now she has warmed up in her foster home and is such a sweetie. She can also be very quick to move around and enjoys eating. She has a little bit of pyramiding but overall looks pretty good. On intake, she weighed 2204 grams and was about 9 inches long by 5.5 inches wide. <br/><br/>This animal requires an 8'x4' enclosure as a baby/juvenile and a 25x12 enclosure as an adult. Outdoor pens must be secured into the ground at least 12 inches to ensure they will not dig and escape.
