This young, resilient ball python has been through quite the journey but has come out stronger, healthier, and more eager than ever to find a place to call home.<br/><br/>Smalls was found as a stray in May 2023 and later transferred to our rescue in June to recover from stomatitis and thermal injuries. It was a tough road, requiring multiple rounds of medication and plenty of TLC, but this determined little snake fought through and came out victorious! Once strong enough, Smalls moved into a loving foster home, where they continued to thrive and enjoy life as a cherished companion.<br/><br/>Though their exact age is a guess based on size, Smalls is definitely on the younger side. With proper care, ball pythons can live 20 to even 40 years in captivity—so adopting Smalls means gaining a lifelong friend!<br/><br/>What makes Smalls so special?<br/>?
