Runaway's Story

Runaway was found on the Paul Bunyan bike trail in Brainerd with an unjury to the back of her neck. We took her in, filed down the sharp part of her shell that had caused the injury, and released her once her wound had healed. She still visits the yard every summer; we can tell it's her by the shell. She was never actually up for adoption as she was a wild animal that was released back in to the wild. She is a painted turtle.
