Red Tail Boa's Story

This pair of red tail boas arrived from a caring home that wanted them to receive more attention. They have been pretty mellow and steady eaters of f/t rats since arriving at the rescue. At 5-6 ft, they are a healthy pair of medium-large boas. They can be adopted individually or separately. We only recommend red tail boas to homes with plenty of reptile experience.

If you are interested in adopting this reptile, please submit an online application at www.forgottenfriend.org/apply.

Please understand:
1. We cannot ship reptiles so you must be able to pickup in the Lancaster, PA area. You can meet us at the Lancaster Herpetology Society each month (www.lancasterherp.org) or schedule a pickup time here in Manheim, PA 17545.

2. You must be 18 to adopt a reptile (sorry kids).

3. You must be willing to sign a no-breeding agreement and available for a home visit if needed.

4. Our #1 goal is to put our animals in the best homes and we reserve the right to deny applications for any reason. We are a very small nonprofit organization so thanks for understanding.

5. $35 Adoption fees benefit the reptile rescue.
