Poptort's Story

Meet Poptort! This fun little friend came to us from a neglect case and likely experienced lack of care for some time. She has since seen a vet, been dewormed and had a beak trim. She eats well, enjoys a brisk walk in the sunshine and is generally easy going. Our vet estimates her to be a 10-15 years old female and likely lacked proper lighting/sun previously. Poptort will come with her tortoise box set up included in her $100 adoption fee. We seek a knowledgeable home willing to provide for her for what we hope is a very long time! Please research and make sure a Russian tortoise is right for you. If so, contact us! Misspits Rescue's Adoption Policy

Misspits Rescue takes in dogs from various sources including local shelters and owner surrenders. All dogs are current on shots, spayed/neutered, microchipped and treated for parasites prior to adoption. Dogs live in a foster home first so we are able to provide some insight into their behavior, training, likes and dislikes etc so that we can try to make the best match. Our mission is to place them in a forever home so there is a thorough adoption process including a home visit.
