Petunia's Story

Petunia is an approximately 7-8 year old red foot tortoise. Unfortunately, due to improper shell growth, it is hard to guarantee that this tortoise is a female, but it is our best guess. She also has pyramiding but she is social even on arrival! Petunia came into our rescue on October 8 and is ready for her forever home. She has been living with Rose (and Coral, who has been adopted) for quite some time and has done well with them so being with other tortoises is likely not an issue.

This animal needs an indoor enclosure of 8’x4’ due to their large size. Ideally the outside enclosure is larger for the warmer months, but an 8’x4’ size enclosure for outdoors is the minimum. Proof of habitat will be requested at time of adoption inquiry.

If you are interested in adopting Petunia, please reach out to us at christinaspets@netzero.net or start an inquiry on this page.
Must be able to travel to the Palmerton, PA area for pick up.
