Nine's Story

Meet the handsomest big guy! Nine was dumped at an LA shelter with his 8 siblings (hence his name!) but now lives the sweet life with his foster mom. With patience, Nine has become increasingly more comfortable, taking food from our hands and allowing us to clean his home with no fuss. We firmly believe in a few months, he will be quite cozy with people and allow handling. Our hopes are high for him since he's made so much progress already!

Nine is a Green Iguana, and will grow to be Very Big! Right now he is about 24inch from nose to tail, but the average adult will be 3-6 feet so be ready! Iguanas make awesome companions with their intelligence and personalities, so long as you are ready for it! As an adult, Nine will require a minimum 6x6x10foot enclosure, but larger would be better so he can exercise.

Thinking about bringing home an iguana? Ask about Nine today, and we'll be happy to help with care questions!
