Mustard's Story
Meet Mustard — She's Ready to Find Her Forever Tank!

Life hasn't always been easy for this little lady. Mustard ended up in our care after her previous owner was evicted from a motel and had to leave her behind — but she's since bounced back with a full belly, a healthy glow, and plenty of gecko sass. Now she's on the hunt for someone to spoil her rotten (with mealworms, obviously).

Mustard is a low-maintenance roommate who mostly wants three things: a warm rock to loaf on, bugs on demand, and zero drama. In return, she offers unmatched blinking, tiny dinosaur energy, and the kind of quiet companionship only a gecko can provide.

What Mustard Needs to Thrive:
Home: At least a 40-gallon tank (36" x 18" x 18") — she's a rescue, not a hoarder, so she doesn't come with her old enclosure. She needs a fresh start!

Substrate: We keep her on a topsoil/play sand mix — easy to maintain and gentle on gecko toes.

Heat: A warm side around 88–92F and a cooler side around 75–80F, with a basking spot of at least 94F.

Light: Low-level UVB is a nice bonus for long-term bone health, even though she's mostly a dusk-and-dawn kind of girl.

Humidity: A comfy 30–40%, with a humid hide for stress-free shedding.

Menu: Gut-loaded, calcium-dusted crickets, mealworms, or dubia roaches — served every two to three days.

Lifespan: 10-20 years or more!

Mustard would love a home with someone who's ready to learn the ropes (or already knows them!) and give her the stability she's been missing. She's small, she's scrappy, and she's so ready to leave motel life behind for good.

Interested in adopting Mustard?
