Mattis is a little shy and can be a picky eater, but he usually eats F/T rodents and has definitely gained weight. Mattis is easy to handle and docile. If you use a glass tank, you MUST cover up at least 75% of the screen top with plastic, plexiglass, or foil tape AND provide a lot of cover. Many ball pythons will require that 3 of the glass sides are covered with paper or a background if they are more nervous.
