Lucy's Story

We currently have a female box turtle in need of a home. She will require a habitat no smaller than a 10 gallon aquarium <br/>These turtles live for an extremely long time, 20-60 year lifespan is normal. Please take that into consideration when deciding if a box turtle is the right pet for your home. The eat fresh fruit and veggies and small proteins, like meal worms, crickets and similar. They are not water turtles, but do like having a small wading pond. Please research before adopting. Small adoption fee does apply to help us continue to provide safe harbor for all animals while awaiting their forever home.
